Principal Agent

Kelly was raised in Westmoreland, TN where he graduated high school. He continued his education at Middle Tennessee State University. During this time he operated a lawn and landscaping business and also did farming. Upon graduation, he worked in many industries including distribution, finance, manufacturing, transportation, sales, and service.

When his son was born he knew it was time to pursue the career he had always wanted in insurance. He was hired as an agent at Chris A. Johnson Insurance Agency, Inc. After a year as an agent, he was given the opportunity to purchase a portion of the agency. In 2020, Kelly and his wife, Rebecca, would purchase the agency.

When Kelly isn't working, he is enjoying the outdoors (especially fishing), being active in his church, spending family time with his wife and son, and working around his farm.

Customer Service Representative

My name is Candace Presley and I am 35 years young. I have been married for 16 years and together we have 3 beautiful babies – two teenage girls and a little boy. We are a very active and energetic family that is constantly on the go from school sporting events to lake days and everything else in between.

I currently work part-time with Johnson-Stone Insurance as a newly licensed agent. Yes, you heard that right – I am fairly new to the insurance world, but look forward to the opportunities that come with this career path as well as meeting all new colleagues and customers.

One fun fact about myself now that you know the key details, as you can tell in my description, I try to be a very bubbly, optimistic person while sprinkling some positive energy daily where ever I go.

Penny Reed was born & raised in Lafayette, TN. She is married to Clarence “Winky” Reed & has a daughter, Audrey Reed. Her favorite pastime activities are spending time with her family & scrapbooking.

She has 42 years of insurance experience.
